FAQ #1: Is HUB a MLM (Multi-level Marketing Company)?
Yes. We looked at every business model available that would allow our members to actively connect with each other and own a portion of the business. We also looked at the spiritual principle of universal flow (giving and receiving) and the MLM structure was the best model available in the world today to meet these principles.
So, the founders based HUB on the best MLM model available and then changed elements of it to better fit with our mission to be the HUB of humanitarian change through sustainable global giving.
Why is MLM the best structure for creating exponential giving?
Basically, three reasons:
1. The MLM model creates the possibility of exponential giving. Think about it. If you, as an individual, gave $99 per month to the charity of your choice, you would be gifting a total of $99 per month. If you, as an active MLM member, invest $99 per month in your own personal development, and HUB donates or loans 40% of your investment into the humanitarian field, and you then encouraged another three people to do the same, then each of them encouraged three more people (you, +3, +9), you would be personally investing $99 per month in your own personal development, but you would be responsible for helping create the gifting of $514.80 per month ($99 X 13 X 40%).
For perspective…
Depending on which charity you chose to give $99 per month to (without participating in the MLM exponential giving model), you may have helped as many as 10-25 people that month in the traditional feeding or child sponsorship charitable model.
On the other hand, when you choose to connect to HUB and participate in the MLM exponential giving model, you have helped impact a total of 416 lives that month:
- you have fed 39 people
- you have educated 39 people
- you have provided clean water for 130 people, and
- you have provided environmental sustainability training to 208 people
…all without a lot of extra effort!
Enrolling like-minded people is easy when you are giving and not selling. How much would you like to give? The possibilities are endless.
2. The MLM model creates sustainable giving in two ways:
- The reality is most non-profits are under-funded and limited to their next big donation for giving. Many non-profits do not survive. With the MLM model of giving, HUB is not reliant on fundraising and the next big donation to succeed. You, we, are HUB. The organization is already prosperous and growing; together we will decide how long we continue to give.
- As you continue to enroll people and create exponential giving, you will receive commissions from the purchases of personal development training by those in your impact team. This means you will be giving globally and receiving enough so that you can continue to give globally throughout time. This creates a natural flow that we call sustainable global giving. If you are continually receiving enough to give back, there is no end to the possibility of our giving. In fact, the more you receive, the more you will be able to give.
3. The MLM structure fits our vision of efficiency and transparency. You’ll always know your giving is efficiently going toward an important cause and you will be able to track exactly how much giving you are personally responsible for contributing to humanity at every stage.
There are two ways to enter HUB: 1) become a preferred customer and have access to the HUB community, without enrolling as a member and without working the MLM business side; or 2) become a member and actively work to build the organization and create more monetary flow for you, HUB’s giving, and the world at large.
If you choose to actively work the organization and build your HUB business, you may find that it’s more fulfilling than traditional MLMs.
- Unlike traditional MLMs, HUB does not require you to sell anything nor does it rely on selling a product to survive. Instead, HUB depends on you sharing your passion for changing the world. If you choose to focus only on enrolling people who want to give to humanity, you will be very successful and very giving!
- The nature of HUB is to enroll people in monthly empowerment training which, in turn, triggers monthly giving. Once someone is enrolled, your only job will be to encourage them to share with others. There is no need to convince them, or re-sell them, after the first enrollment.
- If you choose to share HUB products or products from other HUB members, you will be sharing products specifically designed to contribute and make a positive change in the world. We do not sell products built solely for profit, but rather on the personal impact those products or programs make on the person purchasing them.
HUB’s vision for humanity is to move from survival to self-empowerment and into sustained abundance. We hold our company to the same standard, and, in doing so, we’ve designed our business structure to be self-sustaining.

FAQ #2: Is HUB based on any one religious or political affiliation?
No. At HUB, we believe that what unites us is greater than what divides us. We believe that taking action for humanity goes beyond any one religious belief or political persuasion. Taking action for humanity returns each of us to the central theme of service to ourselves and sharing our gifts with the world. HUB works with many religious affiliations and spiritual leaders from all beliefs including but not limited to field agents like Iris Ministries (supported by the evangelical and Pentecostal communities), Christian churches, Muslim-birthed educators, Agape International, and many more. We believe humanitarian giving and the empowerment of people and communities is a common joy in the hearts of all. We have no political allegiance and we look forward to supporting everyone who wants to make a difference on the planet.
FAQ #3: Why does HUB offer empowerment tools and training?

Recipients of HUB’s monetary support can also expect to receive empowerment training. For example, right now, HUB is supporting what we affectionately call “an extreme makeover for villages” in Africa. When the African people receive their food from HUB distributors, they also receive education and training - some people will be taught how to farm; others will be taught how to run businesses; micro-loans, also provided through HUB partners, may be given. Then, as products and services are created, HUB will support the selling of those goods and services through our HUB Global Marketplace and as these products and services are sold, a model for true sustainability is achieved.
